RSS (Real Simple Syndication)

The great things about RSS is that you can save time in retrieving the latest news from various sites by subscribing and displaying them to be read and used. There is no need for visiting individual sites or joining email newsletter. There are more and more sites that offering RSS feed and a number of web-based feed readers available, such as Google reader, Blogliness, My yahoo, and NewsGator.

RSS and Newsreader

This is something that is my style and sounds wonderful to the ears.
The name of the choir is St Phillips boys choir.

Libera, as we know it today, is the publicly performing boys section of St. Philip's Church choir from South London. Their concept is to make boychoir music more accessible to a wider audience, many of whom might be put off by the words 'church choir', by integrating classical and traditional music with a more contemporary, mainstream sound. The repertoire they sing as Libera is in addition to, not a replacement of, their church singing. It does not detract from the fact that the core activity of the choir is their duty as part of the Anglican parish church. When heard during Sunday services, they are more like other church choirs than the Libera we see on TV and hear on CDs.

To help distinguish between the two there have been different names given to their separate roles as a choral group - first, the St. Philip's Boys' Choir, then in 1990 they changed to Angel Voices, then to Libera in 1998 ("Libera" being the Latin word for "Free", the title of their 2004 album).

St. Philip's Church is over 100 years old and has a long choral history. Its choir was established many decades ago and became a firm foundation on which the future was built. As a result of this, the current key to Libera's public success and popularity lies with two former St. Philip's choirboys - Robert Prizeman, choirmaster, and Ian Tilley who is the sound and technical genius.

Wikis

I look at this week task and amazed of how mind can create such a complex page. I really like the explanation from the link to "full library succes: a best practices wikis", especially on the topic of how to sell your library. There are lots of strategies and examples that we can learn and share around.
Also, looking at the Possible Next Generation Catalog under Hennepin County Library's bookspace gives me the idea of how I can use this application to promote the library items. Not just the page is pleasant to look at, the link works!

Frog Green Sporty Car

Traffic is heavy, rushing left, behind and front but the frog green sporty car still showing no sign of slowing down. With care, travel to reach to the place wherever its driver plan to go.

Autum Season. Native and evergreen tree stand side by side. The cloud hangs low and heavy on the sky. Expecting some rain to come and wash away the drought.

Contents of Blogs

You can choose many different types of content to your blog, eg.; diary of your daily activities, something topical that you would like to share with others, something funny, or maybe your holiday's pictures. Just remember that when you give title to your post, name it with popular term. For example: the secret of happy marriage.
It is also wise to link those idea with other bloggers' website. The reason is for the search engine to be able to pick up some traffic from the search engines.
However, a word of warning "don't be discourage" when the traffic volume is low.

There are analytics package that company offer, eg.; goole offers Google anaylytics free of charge. It provides data concerning how many people visit your blog during a selected period of time; how many page your visitors viewed in your blog; how many minutes they spend on your site. This can be a measurement for you to identify how you are doing.
